Medical
DAVACO offers a choice of several Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Medical Plans that include medical providers throughout the United States. Medical coverage may be elected for an individual, spouse and/or dependent child(ren).
Dental
DAVACO offers its employees an option of Dental Plans. Dental coverage may be elected for an individual, spouse and/or dependent children. All dental services are available through the dentists of your choice, and includes coverage on preventive services.
Vision
A diversified national provider network of private practice optometrists, ophthalmologists and retail optical providers offer convenient access, and full coverage on eye exams and lenses within the participating provider network, or partial reimbursements for out-of-network providers.
Life Insurance and AD&D
At no cost to the full-time employee, DAVACO offers Basic Life Insurance for salaried and non-salaried employees. DAVACO also offers AD&D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment) insurance if an employee suffers a loss due to an accident.
Voluntary Life Insurance, Dependent Life Insurance and AD&D
Employee-paid, Voluntary Life Insurance offers additional coverage to DAVACO employees as well as their spouse and dependent child(ren). The coverage selected for Voluntary Life Insurance will automatically be the same level selected for AD&D coverage.
Short-Term Disability
DAVACO offers Short-Term Disability Insurance to partially cover wages lost as a result of an accident or illness (for up to 13 weeks). Short-Term Disability is fully paid by DAVACO, and all full-time DAVACO employees are automatically enrolled in the program.
Flexible Spending Accounts
This benefit provides a tax savings on expenses typically incurred in a year. Flexible Spending Accounts allow employees to calculate annual expenses such as childcare, medical, prescription, dental and vision, and deduct it from gross income before taxes are withheld, to set aside for use throughout the calendar year.
401(k) Retirement and Savings Plan
DAVACO’s 401(k) plan provides employees the opportunity to build savings for retirement on a tax-deferred basis. Employees can determine their contribution amount which is then deducted from gross income before taxes are withheld. DAVACO offers a company-matched savings program based on the employee’s level of participation (up to the IRS limit).
Roth 401(k)
DAVACO's Roth 401(k) plan is funded with an employee's after-tax dollars without being subject to taxes on future earnings if certain requirements are satisfied. The Roth 401(k) contributions are separate from contributions made under the 401(k) program.
Business Travel Assistance
This service allows employees and their dependents to have access to medical, travel, legal and financial assistance services, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, while traveling domestically more than 100 miles from home or internationally.
Tuition and Education Assistance
DAVACO encourages its employees to continue their education in a related field. Full-time employees may be eligible for reimbursement of registration and tuition costs from an accredited educational institution, as well as continuing education classes and/or training seminars.
Employee Assistance Program
DAVACO offers the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the Online Work/Life Program to all employees as a part of your benefits package at no additional cost to all employees. This program is completely confidential and offers counseling, support and assistance on a variety of issues. A 24-hour hotline and website are available with extensive library, resources and self-assessment tools.
Scholarships for Dependents of Employees
DAVACO offers an educational scholarship program to support higher education (i.e., post high school, such as college, university or technical institution) for DAVACO families.
Vacation, Paid Time Off and Holidays
DAVACO rewards employees with vacation time based on accrued service. In addition the company provides paid time off for sick days and observes major holidays.
