DAVACO Leadership
DAVACO’s leadership team brings over 200 years of retail experience and business acumen to the company. Rick Davis, the founder of the company and current CEO, maintains an active leadership role and today continues to be the visionary behind the company. Also notable, Paul Hamer and Mark Roberson are among Rick Davis’ first hires in 1990, and both hold prominent management positions today.

Chief Executive Officer
Rick Davis currently serves as the chief executive officer of DAVACO, where he is responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the company. Originally known as Fixture Perfect International (FPI), Mr. Davis founded the company in 1990 to meet the unique needs of retailers. Since then, he has led the company to become the nation’s number one turnkey retail service provider and technology leader, with double-digit average annual growth. Mr. Davis was honored for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award as a finalist in 2000 and 2006.  In 2006, he was inducted into the Retail Construction Hall of Fame and named to The Salvation Army’s Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Advisory Board. He also serves on the 2009 SPECS Advisory Board. Prior to DAVACO, he was a Dallas-based developer of commercial and residential properties.
Gerry Geddis, President and Chief Operating Officer

President and Chief Operating Officer
Gerry Geddis is president and chief operating officer for DAVACO. He is responsible for developing vertical integration strategies, business processes and customer relations programs to enhance the company's growth and service capabilities. Prior to joining DAVACO in 2002, Gerry served as worldwide president and chief operating officer of Blockbuster Entertainment. In his nine years with Blockbuster, Gerry served in various management roles including senior vice president - domestic video/international video and senior vice president - European operations. Prior to Blockbuster, Gerry spent over 17 years with Tandy Corporation in various management roles at store and operational levels. Gerry attended the University of Wyoming.
Lamar Roberts, Chief Financial Officer Lamar Roberts

Lamar Roberts joined DAVACO in 1998 as chief financial officer. With 20 years of accounting and financial experience, Lamar is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, as well as overseeing the accounting and information technology departments. Lamar previously held the position of chief financial officer for Amber’s Stores, a 39 unit craft chain, where he was instrumental in the company’s initial public offering.  Lamar also worked in public accounting for nine years, most recently in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young with a variety of retail customers including CompUSA, Michael’s and Amber’s. He earned a bachelor of business administration from Southern Methodist University.
Paul Hamer, Executive Vice President of Sales Paul Hamer
Executive Vice President of Sales
Paul Hamer is the executive vice president of sales for DAVACO and is responsible for strategic sales and business development. Originally hired as a construction superintendent in 1989, he has held a variety of positions within the company including national sales director and Northeast regional director. Prior to joining DAVACO, Paul worked as a general contractor and was an assistant professor of printmaking at The Rhode Island School of Design. In addition to working with a wide range of retailers at DAVACO, Paul grew up in the restaurant business and has held a variety of operational positions in the quick service and casual dining industry. Paul is a graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design and Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Shelly Vandeven, Senior Vice President of Marketing Shelly Vandeven
Senior Vice President of Marketing
Shelly Vandeven is the senior vice president of marketing. In this role, she is responsible for all strategic marketing activities for business development, as well as industry and corporate marketing initiatives including customer programs, advertising and public relations. Prior to joining DAVACO in 2004, Shelly previously worked for Haggar Clothing Co. for a combined 12 years, most recently serving as vice president of brand marketing where she led all brand activities for consumer, trade, retail and corporate marketing programs. She earned a Master of Business Administration in Business Management from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University.
F.L. Chase, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations F.L. Chase
Senior Vice President of Retail Operations
F.L. Chase joined DAVACO in 2002, and currently holds the position of senior vice president of retail operations. He is responsible for retail field operations, including fixture installation, new store rollouts, store remodels/resets, brand merchandising, product merchandising and other client store initiatives. F.L. formerly operated over 1,500 retail stores throughout Texas and surrounding states as the vice president of merchandise for National Convenience Stores. Most recently, he served as vice president of Blockbuster Entertainment where he led all Australia/New Zealand business operations, including product, finance, marketing and purchasing.  F.L. earned a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Utah.

Mike Murray serves as senior vice president of operations. Since joining DAVACO in 2002, he is responsible for managing the project management division, design services and cost management departments and the Company’s regional office, NCS. Mike has over 35 years of experience in the retail industry with RadioShack and Blockbuster Entertainment. His previous experience with RadioShack included roles as vice president of real estate and store planning, divisional vice president for U.S. operations and managing director for Tandy Australia Limited. During his tenure at Blockbuster Entertainment, Mike served as vice president of Blockbuster Music and president of Blockbuster International.
Ray Ann Cacheria, Vice President of Information Technology Ray Ann Cacheria
Vice President of Information Technology
Ray Ann Cacheria is the vice president of information technology for DAVACO.  In this role, she leads the corporate strategy for the use of technology that supports DAVACO’s internal business applications, corporate IT infrastructure, as well as technology that extends to our customers. Ray Ann joined DAVACO with over 18 years IT experience.  Most recently, she was employed with Greyhound Lines, Inc. as the director of strategic planning and analysis where she was responsible for finance, compliance, and strategic planning for the IT department.  Ray Ann earned a bachelor of science in management information systems and marketing from Fordham University in New York.
Kathy Merani, Controller Kathy Merani

Kathy Merani is Vice President, Controller for DAVACO, Inc.  Kathy is responsible for leading the accounting, finance, and payroll departments. Prior to joining DAVACO in 2007, Kathy’s accounting and retail experience includes an extensive 15 years with CompUSA, where she served in positions ranging from assistant controller and senior director of business development, store operations support and most recently, merchandise category buyer.  In these roles, she has managed a large accounting department during aggressive company growth and reorganized operational processes. Merani attended St. John’s University in New York and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, as well as attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida and earned an MBA.  She is also a certified public accountant.
Mark Roberson, Vice President of Global Logistics and Consolidation Mark Roberson
Vice President of Product Merchandising and Global Logistics
Mark Roberson joined DAVACO in 1990, and currently holds the position of vice president of product merchandising and global logistics. In this role, he oversees complex and integrated programs for DAVACO’s retail and wholesale clients at the store level, including merchandising, logistics and consolidation, warehousing, site and marketing surveys, and fundamental graphics and fixture installations. As one of the company’s first employees, Mark has held various positions for the company overseeing all phases of field training, equipment rental and temporary labor acquisition, as well as the logistical management of field employees including job scheduling and tracking. Mark also directed the transportation, consolidation, warehousing and distribution for DAVACO clients. Prior to DAVACO, Mark owned and operated RobCo Construction, a regional general contracting firm that specialized in high-end residential and light retail construction for 14 years.
Tom Currier, Vice President of Retail Operations Tom Currier
Vice President of Retail Operations
Tom Currier is the vice president of retail operations and is responsible for the management of DAVACO’s drug and convenience store specialty division. Tom began his career with DAVACO in 1999 within the field operations division and was later promoted to operations manager – Northeast. Tom has held many other positions with increasing responsibilities including project manager, senior project manager and, most recently, director of retail operations where he has taken a lead role in managing the CVS Pharmacy account for DAVACO. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science from Providence College.
Tom Motschull, Vice President of Retail Operations Tom Motschull

Tom Motschull serves as the vice president of retail operations for DAVACO. In this role, Tom manages and oversees the project services division of DAVACO. He previously served as a project manager and was promoted to director of project services in 2006. Prior to joining DAVACO, Tom spent 10 years working on Gap projects. He attended the Spartan School of Aeronautics and Technology where he earned his commercial pilot license, instrument rating, multi-engine rating and certified flight instructor rating.
Brian Reilly, Vice President of Field Operations Brian Reilly

Brian Reilly holds the position of vice president of field operations. In this role, he is responsible for the management of all retail operations field personnel and all phases of field training. In addition, he oversees equipmentrental and temporary labor acquisition, as well as the logistical management of field employees including job scheduling and tracking.  Brien joined DAVACO in 2005 as a project manager and was promoted to director of field operations in 2006. Reilly previously worked for JCPenney Company for twenty-four years, where he held several positions including project manager, store merchandising planning manager, district special events and planning manager, and district business planning manager for various divisions such as hard home, women’s accessories, intimate apparel and cosmetics.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shepherd University in West Virginia.
Sheryl Koehn, Vice President of Brand Development Sheryl Koehn
Vice President of Brand Development
Sheryl Koehn currently serves as the vice president of brand development for DAVACO, where she oversees all aspects of DAVACO’s brand development division, which includes full-service and supplemental retail coordinator coverage, project management and all aspects of vendor shop programs for nationwide brands of soft-line products. Sheryl joined DAVACO in February 2006 as director of national accounts and in 2007 was promoted to director of brand development.  Prior to DAVACO, Sheryl was employed with Liz Claiborne, Inc. holding the position of regional manager, Modern Brands, where she was responsible for overseeing in-store marketing of multiple brands and retail accounts. During her seven year tenure at Liz Claiborne, she also served as sales manager of accessories and regional manager of Liz Claiborne brands. Prior to that, she spent over 13 years with The Limited, Inc. serving in a variety of positions. Sheryl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah.
