Premier International Retailer Signs
With Fixture Perfect International
FPI To Help with Merchandising For 250 Polo Jeans Stores
Dallas June 6, 2000 Polo Jeans Company, a division of the Polo
Ralph Lauren Corp., has chosen Fixture Perfect International,
Inc., (FPI) to implement its merchandising program in 250 B and
C+ new shop installations and renovations as part of an image
update for the premier retail company. Founded in 1990, FPI is
the only national turnkey resource for program management, store
and fixture design, planning, fixturing, site survey and CAD
services, logistics management, general construction, installation
of retail fixtures, and merchandising.
"FPI is recognized as an industry leader based on
its ability to provide outstanding service, unparalleled
quality and superb value,” said FPI President and
CEO Richard Davis. “A contract of this magnitude with
an exclusive retailer like Polo Jeans validates our
reputation. FPI provides turnkey services for retailers
across the country, and we're pleased that Polo Jeans
has recognized our ability to help them with such
an important project.
Over 240,000 square feet will be re-imaged, with
a scheduled completion date of November 2000. The
Merchandising Division, FPI's newest service, will
be responsible for management of the project.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for our new division," noted
Sue O'Fee, FPI Director of Merchandising. "We couldn't
be more pleased that our first major project is for
one of the most prestigious retailers in the world.
FPI currently performs all installs for Polo Jeans,
and we are thrilled the company has chosen to extend
our services to include merchandising. Their level
of trust in FPI is fitting since both companies stress
quality and service above all else.
In addition to Polo Jeans Company, FPI is also the
retail development services provider of choice for
top retailers such as Tommy Hilfiger and Nike. These customers can take advantage of
the most advanced technological services in the industry
available through FPI.
FPI's state-of-the-art database tracks and schedules
jobs and employees up to the minute. Field employees
carry laptops and digital cameras to send photographs
and job file information to the network. This technology
allows FPI to efficiently create a schedule, survey
the stores, draw CAD layouts, forward photographs
and information, order fixtures, handle delivery logistics
and install the product in much less time.
"One of the reasons FPI has been able to attract
top retailers is our extensive use of technology," noted
Ms. O'Fee. "Polo Jeans has indicated that they will
take advantage of these cutting-edge technology tools
to ensure an easy and clean rollout of their new image
inside all 250 stores."
In its 10 years of business, FPI has grown to include
200 experienced personnel, and its craftsmen, architects
and designers are renowned for their expertise. “Our
success and dynamic growth has allowed FPI to attract
and keep top-quality individuals,” added Davis. “This
means clients will get even smoother and better rollouts,
so they can focus on their most important task, profitably
operating their stores."
