Davaco Appoints New Director of Sales
Gregg Morrison brings significant industry leadership and
experience to growing organization
Dallas—November 5, 2002—Davaco Inc., the leading provider
of high-quality total retail services and solutions has appointed
Gregg Morrison as director of sales. As director of sales,
Morrison will be responsible for all sales and support functions
in the Midwest region of the country and will participate
in the overall strategic development of the company.
Morrison joins Davaco from Huffy Service First, Inc., one
of the nation's largest suppliers of retail outsourcing solutions
sold primarily through Fortune 500 retailers and manufacturers.
While at Huffy, Morrison served in a number of capacities
including director of new business development, director of
sales and national operations manager. As director of new
business development he was responsible for a $4 million profit
plan to generate new services including a national repair
solution for OPE products designed to prevent unnecessary
store returns which he helped develop and launch. As national
operations manager Morrison successfully grew the sales and
profitability of a new business segment from $6.4 million
to $8.2 million. Previously, Morrison worked with Avis Rent-a-Car
Systems, Inc. where, as a regional sales manager, he led a
team of seven sales and support personnel responsible for
a $15 million sales territory covering a six-state region.
