DAVACO Appoints Vice President of Information Technology

Dean Bishop tapped to enhance patented online sourcing platform, noted for saving clients an average of 25% on supply costs

DALLAS, Texas (March 29, 2004) – DAVACO Inc., (DAVACO) one of the nation’s leading providers of retail services and solutions, announces the appointment of Dean Bishop to the position of Vice President of Information Technology. Bishop will lead the enhancement of the company’s patented online sourcing platform, as well as manage all aspects of the company’s information technology.

Bishop brings over 12 years of experience in Information Technology management to his role. Prior to joining DAVACO, he managed large system implementations and outsourcing engagements for EDS, Perot Systems, and Accenture. He also worked with several Internet start-ups leading development and implementation of e-commerce platforms for nationwide retailers.

An alumnus of the University of Texas at Dallas, he earned master’s of science degrees, in Information Technology and Accounting. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University.
