Nelson Joins Davaco as Construction Manager
Dallas, TX - April 10, 2003 - Ric Nelson has recently been
appointed as construction manager for Davaco, Inc., the retail
industry’s leading single-source partner for the management
and execution of new stores, remodels/resets and high-volume
rollouts. Nelson will be instrumental in the management and
implementation of construction management best practices for
Davaco’s retail clientele.
Nelson joins the Davaco team with over 25 year of construction
management expertise. He served as president of DFW Construction,
Inc., a large commercial design/build firm headquartered in
Arlington, TX, for nine years. During his tenure, he oversaw
the construction of large retail distribution centers, manufacturing
plants, aircraft hangers and research and development facilities
nationwide. Nelson also served as the Northeast project manager
for Tandy Design & Construction where he managed the construction
of a multi-million dollar Computer City flagship store located
on the Avenues of the Americas in midtown Manhattan.
Davaco consistently executes nationwide retail programs smoothly
and cost effectively by integrating the right company infrastructure,
management tools, training programs, advanced technology platforms,
web-enabled communication systems and nationwide employee
