DAVACO Acquires National Construction Services

National Retail Service Provider Expands Market Presence in Northeast

DALLAS, Texas (October 27, 2004) – DAVACO Inc., (DAVACO) one of the nation’s leading providers of retail services and solutions, announces the acquisition of National Construction Services, LLC (NCS). Based in Cleveland, NCS provides single source project management services for major retailers with a focus on chains in the Northeast and Midwest. The company will continue to operate as NCS, and its 60 employees will work as an independent division of DAVACO serving current NCS clients without interruption.

Rick Davis, CEO of DAVACO, commented, “Expanding our market presence is very important to us, but even more critical is maintaining our high standards of customer service and our commitment to guaranteed satisfaction. Bringing on a company of NCS’s caliber and industry reputation helps us to accomplish both.” He continued, “This move is about combining the capabilities of two exceptional organizations with one focus: delivering the highest quality service and solutions for retailers across the country.”

“We’re very excited about the new synergies that this partnership will bring to our company and our clients. Leveraging the resources of DAVACO will give our clients more comprehensive retail services, such as brand merchandising, design, and tenant representation, while keeping the same personal attention they have come to expect, ” noted Bryon J. Hamad, President of NCS. NCS clients include CVS, Radio Shack, Pearle Vision (Cole National), MAC’s Convenience Stores, GNC and Kmart. NCS will be augmenting office and field staff to support current client projects as well as developing new business in partnership with DAVACO.

DAVACO continues to grow strategically and now numbers over 500 employees nationwide. The company recently announced that it is relocating to larger corporate headquarters in Dallas to accommodate steady growth. The new space, to be occupied in late December, will be more than twice the size of DAVACO’s current offices.
