Dallas, TX (October 10, 2005) – DAVACO, Inc., the national leading provider of retail services, announces the appointment of John Burt as the director of national accounts. In this position, Burt will be responsible for new business development and the management of existing accounts for DAVACO’s national retail clients. Based in New Jersey, Burt’s primary territory is the Northeastern United States, including Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. He will report directly to Paul Hamer, executive vice president of sales.

Burt joins DAVACO with over 15 years of business development, sales and marketing experience in both the construction and manufacturing business sectors. Burt previously was employed with Condor Associates, Ltd., for a combined 7 years, where he was managing partner of business development and strategic partnerships, working with retail clients such as Kohl’s, Federated and ASPI (Albertson’s). He also was employed by LVI Services, Inc. as the vice president of business development, managing multiple accounts including Washington Mutual, AT&T Wireless, Honeywell, Corp., Bristol-Myers Squibb and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. Most recently, he held the position of managing member of Orchard Hills Design & Construction, where he was responsible for executive level oversight of firm operations, contract management, vendor selection, sales and marketing.

Burt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in history/pre-law, graduating with magna cum laude distinction.
