Dallas, TX (March 6, 2007) – DAVACO, Inc., the national leading provider of retail services, announced today that it has named Nancy Winton as vice president, controller. In this role, Winton is responsible for leading the accounting, finance and payroll departments.  Winton reports to Lamar Roberts, chief financial officer, of DAVACO, Inc.

Winton’s previous accounting and retail experience includes working for companies such as Footaction USA, Pier 1 Kids and Home Interiors and Gifts, where she served in positions ranging from chief financial officer and controller to vice president of finance and administration. In these roles, she led cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative expense controls, Sarbanes Oxley 404 Certification projects, and internal teams.

Winton attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
