DAVACO Names Gerald Geddis as President
Noted Retail Executive to Focus on Client Service and Company Expansion

DALLAS, Texas (March 29, 2004) – DAVACO Inc., (DAVACO) one of the nation’s leading providers of retail services and solutions, announces the appointment of Gerald Geddis to the position of President. Geddis, who will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer, will focus on enhancing client service and satisfaction and sustaining DAVACO’s 40% growth rate.

“Gerry brings a successful track record with over 30 years in retail, including management roles with Blockbuster Entertainment and Tandy/Radio Shack,” remarked Rick Davis, CEO of DAVACO. “Gerry is highly regarded for his ability to expand client relationships and develop new markets, both of which are imperative to our continued success. Growing up in the retail ranks, he is able to provide insights to streamline operations and develop new product offerings.”

Beginning immediately, Geddis will spearhead three key initiatives to identify business process improvements; develop unique client service programs; and advance vertical integration of the company’s products and services. He will also oversee sales and marketing as well as all operational activities and client services including retail, merchandising and sourcing.

During his nine years with Blockbuster, Geddis served in executive roles including worldwide operations president and COO, where he was responsible for overseeing over 5,000 retail stores and developing four international divisions. He began his career with Tandy Corp./Radio Shack, where he was promoted through field management during his 17-year tenure and noted for achieving sales and profit growth. Geddis was co-founder, president and COO of Gerald Stevens Inc., a flower and gift registry retailer.
