In the largest program of the fast-food giant’s history, McDonald’s chose to modernize their chain of restaurants with updated elements and advanced technology components. McDonald’s looked to DAVACO to help implement new, consumer friendly elements that enhanced the customer experience in each location.

Program Overview

McDonald's needed a partner to provide a full turn-key solution for the transformation of the lobby, order and service counter areas in their Service Area Modernization (SAM) program. Store operations were fully functioning during the renovation process as the drive-thru remained open with the lobby closed.

5 day concurrent remodel process beginning on Sunday and complete on Friday.

  • Replace the service counter with a sleeker design.
  • Update to the McCafé coffee and beverage service area.
  • Wallcovering and floor tile replacement with modern and clean color substitutions.
